This is a full-time, on-site position for a Pastry Chef at City Seasons Hotels, located in Dubai. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for preparing and producing a variety of baked goods, desserts, and pastries at the highest quality. Day-to-day tasks include managing the baking process, ensuring ingredient quality and inventory, designing creative dessert menus, and maintaining hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen. The role also involves training and supervising team members to uphold consistent quality and presentation standards.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Bakery Techniques and Baking Processes
Advanced Food Preparation, Cooking, and Culinary Skills
Attention to detail and creativity in dessert presentation
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role
Formal training or certification in Culinary Arts or Pastry Arts is preferred
