Assist in the preparation of pastries, desserts, breads, cakes, and other baked items
Follow standard recipes and plating guidelines set by the Pastry Chef
Prepare mise en place (ingredients, tools, equipment) before service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section
Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items
Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times
Assist during service and support senior chefs as needed
Minimize food waste and report spoilage or shortages
Participate in stock checking and basic inventory control
