Your profile

  • Experience of commercially managing customer bids, thereof up to two years can be counted as responsible Commercial manager managing external customer projects
  • Managed at least more than two complex bids of category >= C
  • Worked in international bids and intercultural teams
Your responsibilities
  • Presents, support and brief line management on the strategy to use for the achievement of the project in all stages and matters of the project, including technical, cost calculation and legal challenges.
  • Responsible for all financial and commercial activities during project acquisition
  • Manage all commercial aspects of the bid: contract analysis, cost calculation, business models, financing concepts, currency, hedging, risks and opportunities, bonds, terms of payment, credit rating, insurances, export control, compliance etc.
  • Support pre-qualification process
  • Relationship management with external project stakeholders i.e. customers, consortium partners etc.
  • Define Business Model based on business, customer and tax regulations Support sales manager to develop winning strategy
  • Participate in LoA processes and familiarization with salesforce.com
  • Understand customers' requirements, evaluation method and criteria
  • Understand competitor's commercial condition and pricing strategy
  • Participate in negotiation of commercial customer T&Cs and consortium contracts with the applicable guidelines, and, in coordination with the relevant departments (e.g. Legal, SFS, Insurance, Taxes, etc.)
  • Ensure correctness of appropriate approvals in accordance with actual negotiations
  • Support Business Partner process
  • Provide lessons learned on a contractually and financially comparable project basis
  • Oversees open bids forecast, ensuring its reporting and controlling to all internal parties involved.
What do I need to qualify for this job
  • A sound degree in Business Administration/ Engineering/ Finance/ Accounting or equivalent
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Very good command of English language (Arabic is an asset).
  • Knowledge of LoA guidelines, financial accounting (IFRS),
  • Good command of MS Office and SAP.
  • Analytical thinking result and quality-oriented approach, solid professional judgment & problem-solving ability and good communication skills are required competencies.
  • Team-oriented ability to work with cross - functional teams.
  • Must be able and willing to work in a multi-cultural environment.
