What are my responsibilities?

  • Develop and prioritize project opportunities and regional partnerships together with Siemens Energy Hub Sales Team in close interaction with regional customers for H2, Power to X and renewable based energy systems and solutions
  • Ensure continuous competence development for SES portfolio of Siemens Energy Hub Sales Team
  • Driving key discussions and building relationships with senior Customer representatives.
  • Guide customer in technical project specification and consult for most advantageous technology selection with Siemens Energy internal experts
  • Lead the preparation of bid documents, feasibility, pref-feed and feed studies as per client/tender requirements, in line with Siemens Energy process and policies and by utilizing the NEB tool landscape
  • Develop and communicate project winning strategy after alignment with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Set-up and lead cross functional and cross organizational bid/capture teams
  • Preparation of sales calculation and documentation together with the assigned Bid Manager and Commercial counterpart, drive submission of bid into release process up to project handover for implementation (PM20 to PM80)
  • Submit comprehensive and high quality technical & commercial proposal to Customer.
  • Lead Customer negotiations to finalize the post tender clarifications and contract agreements.
  • Lead the transfer to project management teams for execution in case of successful contract signature.
  • Ensure all work is in line with the QA procedures, statutory, regulatory and EHS requirements
  • Abide by and comply with the Siemens Compliance and Business Conduct Guidelines
What do I need to qualify for this job?
  • Experienced professional with more than 15 years of overall experience. Minimum 10 years of experience in Technical Sales,Bid Management or Business Development for system and or solutions required.
  • Project Management experience and/or PMP certification is preferred
  • Intensive experience in relevant technical disciplines such as design/construction/ commissioning project management in relevant industries such as large power plant, Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals
  • Experience in H2 Electrolysis, photovoltaic or battery technology, and related process technology and safety requirements
  • Experience in contract negotiations and project hand-over to execution teams
  • Sound knowledge of contract management and understanding of commercial aspects and quality management methods / tools Profound knowledge of Project Management procedures & tools
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, able to inspire a multifunctional and multicultural team
  • A pro-active high achiever with high energy levels, who is used to working under pressure and to tight / challenging deadlines.

  • Willing and able to acquire new technology know-how in the field of power-to-hydrogen and power-to-X
