Aquaculture Diver JD Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Lead Diver, the key responsibilities include, but not limited to: Perform Work Tasks: o Install, inspect and maintain the offshore infrastructure of the farm o Drive company boats o Dive & Operate at depth of 30m Maintain Equipment - routinely check all diving equipment and keep it in good working order. This includes cleaning equipment after every dive and reporting any defects. Impeccable planning and execution of dives to meet daily assigned goals Maintain Logbook - log all completed dives into logbooks, recording details of when dives are made and how much time is spent under the water. Stay Safe - responsible at all times for their own safety and must stay constantly aware of their equipment readings and underwater landmarks while diving. Candidate profile 3-5 years diving experience is a must, preferably as a commercial diver Diving School qualification Good level of spoken and written English Able to work under own initiative and as part of a team Functional competencies Strong Teamwork and Communication Skills Mechanical ability - work with a variety of tools and equipment, keeping everything in good working condition Ability to calculate how much air is available in order to figure out how much time can be spent diving underwater, and factor decompression time into this formula Physical ability - able to dive at different temperatures and visibility conditions, and sometimes remain underwater for long periods at a time, swimming to specific locations to perform tasks Attention to detail - to maintain awareness and take continuous readings of own equipment and gauges Excellent time management and prioritization Is able to judge the relative priority of different tasks or information Asks questions to identify the needs & priorities or clarification of tasks Able to work under pressure to demanding time and meet deadlines Problem solving skills A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED1.00 - AED2.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
