Job Description

FREIGHT EXECUTIVE FREIGHT EXECUTIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Communicate and receive/send pre-alerts to all stakeholders: shipping lines, airlines, shipping agents, freight forwarders and local customers.
• Manage all administrative matters of freight and customs operations: bookings, orders tracking, documentations, custom declarations, cash outlay co-ordination, shipments follow-up, monitor clearance & deliveries.
• Manage timely receipt and submission of documentation for import and export of air/sea freight clearance: AWB, HAWB, Permits, Manifest, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of ladings, Certificate of Origin, Hazardous Cargo Declaration etc.
• Co-ordinate Import and Export freight bookings including Air / Sea (FCL/LCL) / Cross Border Trucking / Inland Clearance & Trucking.
• Track and trace shipments, researching and resolving any issues regarding billing or shipping discrepancies, communicate timely correspondence back to both customers and vendors.
• Identify and develop Freight agents/shipping line network
• Get competitive quotations and negotiate best rates

FREIGHT EXECUTIVE REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 1-2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in freight forwarding.
• Minimum Qualification \xe2\x80\x93 High School and above qualifications.
• Having contacts in shipping line and with freight agents.
• Excellent knowledge of Freight Forwarding (Import/Export/Cross Trade/Ocean/Air/Trucking) and regulatory requirements
• Proficient in handling shipping documents and familiar with INCOTERMS.
• Knowledge in permit declaration, chamber certificate of origin.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to work independently with minimal supervision and with sense of urgency.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
