To ensure efficient import of materials to the production and warehouse. Manage process compliance with the rules and regulations of the country to avoid penalties and on-time shipment deliveries.

What You\'ll Do

• Import
• Follow up with Freight Forwarders for Shipment Schedules
• Chasing suppliers for shipment documents
• Applying Food Import Request Service (FIRS) for all Food Shipments
• Applying for food Import Approval from Authorities
• Taking approval from the Metrology department for the Non-Food products
• Apply documents with the Economy department for Duty exemption
• Apply documents with the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment
• New HS CODE approval from Dubai Customs

Export * Provide all required export documents with relevant authorities (Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin etc.) as per exporting country requirements

• Quality Check of the documents before sharing them with the forwarder for custom/customer approval
• Receive packing details from the Warehouse then prepare export documents
• Get document approval from customers
• Apply for a Health Certificate from the health authority
• Apply for Food Grade/ Conformity certificate from Dubai Municipality / SGS

What Are We Looking For?

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in freight coordination, import/export logistics, or a related field.
• Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a relevant field is preferred.
• Proficiency in import and export regulations and customs procedures in the UAE.
• Familiarity with international shipping methods, including ocean and air freight.
• Understanding of HS codes and documentation requirements for both food and non-food products.
• Knowledge of the Dubai Customs processes and approvals.
• Experience with Food Import Request Service (FIRS) and food import approvals.
• Strong understanding of quality checks for export documents.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to work effectively with suppliers, freight forwarders, and relevant authorities.
• Proficient in using MS Office applications and logistics software.
• Problem-solving skills to resolve shipping and documentation issues.
• Ensure strict compliance with all rules, regulations, and procedures related to imports and exports in the UAE.
