We are looking for a results-driven

Commercial Manager - Civil

to oversee the commercial and contractual aspects of our construction projects across the UAE. The ideal candidate must have a solid background in civil construction with a minimum of 5 years of UAE experience. A valid UAE driving license will be an added advantage for project site visits and client meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the commercial function of civil construction projects from pre-contract through to final account. Prepare and review contracts, subcontracts, and commercial agreements in line with project requirements and legal compliance. Manage project budgets, cash flows, forecasts, and financial reporting. Monitor project costs, variations, and claims to ensure profitability and minimize risk. Oversee tendering processes, bid evaluations, and pricing strategies. Liaise with project managers, consultants, clients, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on commercial objectives. Handle negotiations, contract administration, and dispute resolution. Prepare and present commercial reports to senior management. Support procurement and cost planning for ongoing and future projects. Ensure compliance with UAE construction laws and contract standards (e.g., FIDIC).

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of commercial management experience in the UAE construction sector. Strong knowledge of local contract laws, cost control, budgeting, and risk management. Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office, and project management tools. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. UAE Driving License is an added advantage.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience with infrastructure, residential, or commercial building projects. Proven track record of delivering commercially successful outcomes. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Member of a recognized professional body (e.g., RICS) is a plus.
