Azizi Developments is hiring a Procurement Engineer - Civil Materials Specialist to support quality assurance in the procurement and inspection of construction materials. What Does a Procurement Engineer - Civil Materials Specialist Do?
- Coordinate with project teams to define material requirements for ongoing construction activities
- Oversee the timely procurement of civil materials aligned with technical specifications and purchase orders
- Inspect materials upon delivery, verifying grades, certifications, and compliance with quality standards
- Document discrepancies and escalate non-compliance or substandard supplies
- Conduct supplier audits and ensure adherence to company quality expectations
- Maintain updated knowledge of relevant industry codes, HSE regulations, and material compliance standards
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to resolve material issues and recommend suitable alternatives
- Support vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance on quality metrics
- Provide technical input on material selection for upcoming developments

- Evaluate and approve civil material deliveries based on grade, quality, and technical compliance
- Maintain records of material inspections, approvals, and rejections for audit purposes
- Identify improvement areas in supplier processes and propose corrective actions

- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless material handling and usage on-site

Education:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field
Experience:
