This role will be reporting to the CEO of the business. It will act as an individual contributor senior position responsible all commercial strategy and activities related to net new business revenue.
Your role will be to sell sponsorship packages across the GCC (minimum ticket size 50k USD) to various industries / verticals.
Your key responsibilities as Commercial Director will be:
Develop and implement commercial strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share gains.
Sponsors lead generation, management of commercial aspects and business development.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing & new clients, sponsors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships that align with the company\'s strategic objectives and revenue targets.
Monitor and analyze Global Market trends and identify opportunities to accelerate sustainable growth through marketing efforts.
Develop and manage sponsorship sales, forecasts, and KPIs to ensure financial targets are achieved.
Work closely with other departments, including operations and finance, to ensure alignment and effective execution of commercial initiatives.
Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management.

To be a successful applicant for this role, you must have the below experience and attributes:
Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field
Overall professional work experience of 15 years
Minimum 7-8 years experience in a target driven sponsorship sales role selling high-value deals to multiple industries
Prior experience at a marketing/communications agency or the sports industry will be highly advantageous
Proven experience in similar commercial roles with a track record of driving revenue growth and profitability.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and strategic mindset
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to travel as needed.

Gross monthly salary of AED 45-50,000 (dependent on experience)
