Key Responsibilities
Inspect
surface preparation, blasting, priming, and final coating
activities.
Verify coating systems, DFT (dry film thickness), adhesion tests, and curing.
Inspect
hot/cold insulation installation
on piping and equipment.
Monitor storage, handling, and mixing of coating/insulation materials.
Ensure compliance with
NACE, SSPC, ASTM, and project specifications
.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and QA/QC for approval and acceptance.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma/Bachelor's in
Mechanical/Materials Engineering
.
NACE Level II / BGAS Grade 2
(mandatory).
8-12 years' EPC experience in coating/insulation inspections.
Familiarity with
ISO 12944, SSPC, ASTM D standards
.
LNG/Oil & Gas project experience preferred.
Only candidates currently based in Qatar with valid NOC and transferable visa will be considered.
