About the Role

We are seeking a qualified

Mechanical Site Engineer

to support construction works on the

North Field Expansion (NFE) EPC-3 Project

. The role involves field supervision of

mechanical equipment, piping, and structural installations

across Greenfield and Brownfield areas, ensuring all activities meet QELNG and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise installation of

static equipment

(vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, air coolers). Oversee

rotating equipment

(compressors, pumps, skids) alignment and installation. Monitor

piping fabrication, erection, hydrotesting, and reinstatement

. Ensure proper execution of

supports, alignment, and insulation works

. Verify compliance with

IFC drawings, project specifications, method statements, and ITPs

. Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections, NDT, hydrotest witnessing, and punch list clearance. Prepare daily progress reports and highlight work-front constraints. Enforce

HSSE standards, PTW, and lifting procedures

at site. Support in achieving

mechanical completion (MC)

and handover to commissioning.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in

Mechanical Engineering

. 5-10 years' EPC construction experience in Oil & Gas / LNG projects. Strong technical knowledge in

equipment erection, piping systems, hydrotesting

. Familiarity with

ASME, API, ASTM, and relevant project standards

. Experience in both

Greenfield and Brownfield execution

is an advantage. Strong communication and site coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in

Qatargas / QELNG projects

. Certification in

NEBOSH/IOSH

or equivalent safety training. Exposure to

Primavera P6 / Navisworks

for progress monitoring. Knowledge of

welding basics, NDT methods, and lifting studies
