About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented

CNC Beam Saw Operator

to join our production team. This role involves operating computer-controlled beam saw machines to cut wood panels and boards to precise dimensions as per job requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in furniture or joinery manufacturing and a strong understanding of CNC machinery and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC beam saw machines to cut panels accurately according to cutting plans and technical drawings Upload and manage cutting programs, ensuring optimal material usage and precision Read and interpret shop drawings and cutting diagrams Set up machines, select appropriate blades, and adjust parameters for material type and thickness Monitor the cutting process and inspect output to ensure quality and accuracy Maintain machine cleanliness and perform routine maintenance to ensure consistent performance Identify and report any malfunctions, errors, or material inconsistencies Collaborate with the detailing and production teams to meet daily production targets Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment Keep records of work completed, material usage, and production performance
Requirements

Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating CNC beam saw machines Strong ability to read and understand technical and shop drawings Familiarity with cutting optimization software is a plus Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and safety Physically fit and able to handle large boards and panels
