We are seeking a skilled CNC Water Jet Operator to join our manufacturing team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have solid experience operating CNC water jet cutting machines to precisely cut a variety of materials such as metals, stone, glass, and composites. Prior UAE experience is highly preferred to ensure familiarity with local industry standards and practices.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor CNC water jet cutting machines safely and efficiently.
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD files accurately to execute cutting jobs.
Set up and calibrate machines based on job specifications and material requirements.
Select suitable cutting tools, abrasives, and materials for each task.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues to minimize downtime.
Inspect finished components using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure quality.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety protocols.
Collaborate with design and production teams to optimize cutting operations and output.
Log daily production data and promptly report technical problems or material shortages.
Requirements
Minimum 2-5 years of proven experience operating CNC water jet machines.
Prior UAE work experience is highly desirable.
Familiarity with cutting a range of materials, including stainless steel, aluminum, granite, and acrylic.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
Basic mechanical skills for troubleshooting equipment issues.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
Flexibility to work shifts or extended hours as required.
