Description

Cluster Financial Planning & Analysis Manager Purpose of the positionGiven the increase in the number of new mega projects and the anticipated acquisition , this role is crucial in supporting the wrap-up work of all accounting jobs at the Cluster level. This may include the following tasks: .Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support.Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of automated standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards Principal responsibilities.Support the Cluster Head of Finance in driving the financial performance through analysis of financial results, forecasts/budgets, variances, and trends.Lead the productivity program across the cluster through identifying, tracking and reporting on productivity initiatives.Develop financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting.Aid in the capital budgeting and expenditure planning processes at cluster level .Support the acquisition and integration programs of new businesses into the Cluster structure.Support the implementation of new ERPs in the Cluster.Provide support to the Cluster Head of Finance to strengthen the internal controls across the Cluster by ensuring accurate financial reporting, control of the balance sheet, and compliance with financial policies and proceduresKey interfaces-Head of FiCo Cluster -Heads of FiCo at country level-Region (REE) Reporting Team-Local MDs as appropriate-Region (REE) Onsite Account Management Required critical behaviours or competencies .Passion to learn and grow.Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills.Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently Required key skills (functional/technical).Experience working with, and presenting to, senior executives.Excellent communication and presentation skills; be comfortable interacting with executive-level management.Strong financial modelling experience Required qualifications/experience.5+ years of financial planning and analysis or other relevant experience.High proficiency in financial modelling techniques.Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions.BS or MBA degree required in Accounting/Finance/Economics.Strong analytical and data gathering skills.Strong quantitative and analytical competency.Good business acumen.Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
