Duties & Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain the company\xe2\x80\x99s cloud infrastructure
Ensure high availability and performance of all cloud-based services
Manage and monitor all aspects of the company\xe2\x80\x99s AWS environment
Automate tasks wherever possible to improve efficiency and reduce manual work
Liaise with other teams to provide support and advice on using the cloud platform
Keep abreast of new features and functionality from AWS and other providers to ensure the company is making use of the best tools available
Assist in the development of new applications and services, working closely with software engineers and architects
Help migrate existing applications and data to the cloud platform
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of the company\xe2\x80\x99s cloud infrastructure
Respond to incidents and outages in a timely manner, taking appropriate action to resolve them
Undertake capacity planning to ensure the cloud infrastructure can meet future demand
Perform regular security audits and implement measures to mitigate any identified risks

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
3+ years experience in systems administration, DevOps, or a related role
Proficient in Linux/Unix operating systems
Experience with automation and configuration management tools, such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
5+ years experience in systems administration, DevOps, or a related role
