Overview:

The Cloud & Integration Senior Engineer masters the potential within cloud computing and is responsible for integrating new cloud services (applications and infrastructure) into G42 Cloud portfolio of internal systems and existing cloud services. In addition is responsible on automating the deployment of cloud infrastructure and services to support application development and hosting, architecting, engineering, deploying, and operationally managing the underlying logical and physical cloud computing infrastructure Responsibilities:

In addition is responsible on automating the deployment of cloud infrastructure and services to support application development and hosting, architecting, engineering, deploying, and operationally managing the underlying logical and physical cloud computing infrastructure Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Product Managers and Cloud Technology Ecosystem managers in the effort of building integration with Partner technologies;
- Analyse, design, develop and test systems to ensure the integration of software, hardware, reliability, maintainability, safety and other requirements in the total engineering effort;
- Primarily work integrating with cloud technologies IaaS, PaaS and Enterprise tools integrations, for example, monitoring, logging and development tools;
- Work with external vendors, partners and customers during the delivery of complex integration projects
- Leading integration project planning and design sessions, and coordinating staff and internal resources;
- Managing Partners and third-party vendors and execute performance management;
- Participating in tender process i.e. design, submission and review related to integration projects;
- Designing risk mitigation plans for all aspects of system integration projects;
- Conducting integration reviews and creating detailed reports for executive staff;
- Support cloud developers in optimizing and automating cloud engineering activities \xe2\x80\x93 e.g., real time migration, provisioning and deployment, etc

- 10+ years of demonstrable cloud and systems integration experience and skills
- A bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in project management, computer science, informational technology, or related fields may be recommended
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure, platform and software as a service;
- High availability engineering experience (region, availability zone, data replication clustering);
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycles;
- Understanding of network architectures suitable for different cloud topologies;
- Good knowledge of security implications of public & private cloud infra designs;
- Product development in a scaled agile environment;
- Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills
- Strong organizational, time management, and verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, including MS project, JIRA, Confluence;
- Experience with cloud-based hosting platforms and version control tools;
