Cloud Architect is responsible for the management and maintenance of an organization\'s cloud computing system. They are responsible for developing cloud strategies, evaluating cloud applications and hardware, and organizing cloud systems to meet the operational needs of the organization. They also provide relevant expertise to the development and application teams on optimizing the cloud infrastructure utilization and cloud utilization billing for all deployed solutions.

• Develops and coordinates cloud architecture across diverse areas including application development, identity and access management, and network and data management.
• Architect, design and implement plans for deploying complex application workloads on GCP, Azure, and OCI
• Architect highly available, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
• Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and solution development for GCP cloud-based solutions.
• Lead projects, remotely, in a hands-on role driving GCP or other cloud migration/adoption from inception to production.

• Mentor and provide technical oversight and guidance to implementation teams while working in a coordinated manner to deliver and deploy the designed architecture.

• Develop a methodology to automate cloud services and ensure that any errors will not impact the speed and agility of cloud benefits.
• Identify and bridge the gaps between complex business problems and solutions in the cloud.
• Communicate where cloud services will benefit an organization and create processes to build and assess which applications will access cloud computing.
• Support the development and growth of Readapt Modern Data Centre Practice
• Escalation of critical/unresolved issues to stream leads for proper attention.

Qualifications

Education and Professional Qualifications/Certifications:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science or engineering
• Master\'s in IT is a plus.
• Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect or experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Certifications
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect,
• Google/Aws Certified DevOps Engineer

Experience:

\xc2\xb7 At least 7+ years in cloud architect role in Google and Azure

\xc2\xb7 Experience in Google Cloud, Azure, and OCI

\xc2\xb7 Preferred DEVOPS experience on Cloud would be a plus.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in scalable networking design including high availability, redundancy, fail-over and load balancing.

• Strong expertise in GCP services (i.e., Cloud Services Platform, Google Kubernetes Engine, Compute Engine, Cloud Interconnect)
• Develop Enterprise cloud guidelines and automation.
• Design and Implement IaaS and PaaS solutions.
• Automate provisioning of networks and access (Organization, Routes/Firewalls, IAM, Policy)
• A high-level understanding of key security concepts is a must for a Cloud Architect. Initial knowledge of some basic security concepts, such as firewalls, is necessary.

Competencies:

• Good knowledge of at least one operating system: Linux, Ubuntu, Windows.
• Good understanding of networking: TCP/IP, IP addresses, HTTP, DNS
• Sound Knowledge of Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Key Management, Access Controls and Security Protocols, Network routing, Firewalls, ACLs, cloud IaaS components
• Minimal understanding of a programming or scripting language.
• Good communication skills \xe2\x80\x93 the ability to present and explain concepts and demonstrate products.
• Fair conduct in English, and Arabic is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
