VAM Systems is currently looking for Cloud Architect Specialist for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets and terms & conditions: MAIN OBJECTIVES The primary role of Cloud Architects Specialist is responsible to supervise the companys cloud computing strategy. This includes cloud adoption plans and its deployment either public, private and hybrid, cloud application design, and cloud management and monitoring. Moreover, he/she should act as consultant to the organization and its need to stay current on the latest trends and issues. Will also act as subject matter expert with respect to the supported cloud platforms based on IT Roadmap such as, but not limited to, Windows, Linux, iOS and UNIX, and fills both engineering and operational roles in IT infrastructure. EXPERIENCE Minimum 3 years experience in an IT Cloud environment Infrastructure components and services such as but not limited to, DNS, DHCP, Routing, IP Segmenting, Certificate Authority, RADIUS and Domain Controller, Active Directory, AWS EC2, S3, Azure, Storage (SAN, NAS and NFS), RAID, LDAP, SMTP and Email Service Cloud Service such as but not limited to VMware v-Sphere 4 and above, AWS EC2 and Azure Should understand domain name system, TCP/IP and . Experience on Enterprise Backup Architectures Experience of working in a team that delivers a high availability service. Excellent debugging and optimization skills are required. A deep knowledge of client/server systems, performance trade-offs, and bestpractices EDUCATION, professional certificates & SKILLS Minimum Diploma in Computer Science or other IT studies. High level IT certification on Microsoft, Linux, Storages technologies and concepts, VMware and any other IT specific certification such as AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate or Certified Azure Solutions Architect (AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional is an advantage) Highest proficiency in both written and oral English language. Arabic language is an added advantage. High level of troubleshooting and communication skills required. significant software development background which often includes languages like Java, Python or C# will be an advantage Knowledge of Airline solutions or experience in any field in the Airline Industry will be beneficial. Main Duties Lead the change in the organization and propose recommendation and way forward to push the cloud migration program forward. Plan, manage and support resources on cloud environment whether its on AWS, Azure, Oracle, or others. Design the infrastructure with enterprise data security and identity and access management in mind. To ensure only authorized people or code can access applications. Provision virtual machines efficiently and integrate them with cloud technologies as well as link them to all on prem interfaces if needed, including the integration methods. Coordinate different applications together in the cloud environment. Handle the benefits and risks when implementing key management points in cloud operations. Use automation for maintenance of certain areas of cloud infrastructure. Ensure that all technologies are in line with strategic IT direction andplans.
