About Our Client

My client is a medical technology company focused on providing solutions for digestive health, pain management, IV therapy and respiratory health.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision in an environment that requires strong teamwork and cross-functional interaction.
  • Establishes, maintains, and expands a global network of peer contacts in the assigned scientific community.
  • Keeps up to date with innovations in medical applications and technologies in order to develop and maintain clinical roadmaps for his/her application area.
  • Develops clinical roadmaps for an application area, based on in-depth knowledge of clinical trends, technical possibilities, market segmentation, and healthcare development.
  • Participates in marketing and development strategies, product policies and procedures (adhere to the forms and submissions of the global clinical education and clinical director in the United States).
  • Critically review scientific literature, new research data, to be able to draw robust and valid conclusions that may be used in patient care.
  • Supports trade shows, professional conferences and other events related to the industry by performing product upgrade demonstration, promotion, and customer training.
  • Organizes the clinical library and tailor the material to a Middle East identity. Works with the team to provide support for module updates and advanced clinical applications within their speciality.
  • Assist with review of power point presentations, digital images, and scans for marketing and/or sales clinical education materials.
  • Serves as the point of contact for clinical marketing and product support for the MEA region.
  • Works with the team to develop and design base education / training materials in clinical application speciality areas to support staff training and continued education.
  • Understands the physiological anatomy which entails the right positioning of the instrument.
  • Facilitates demonstrations and build company credibility with clinicians, hospital administrators, and physicians.
  • Provides primary training and education to customers.
  • Knowledge about use and background in digestive health (enteral feeding) and chronic pain, and their clinical applications.
  • Able to attend gastro-related procedures/ surgeries where their clinical product will be used.
  • He/ she will be reporting to the MEA Business Head who sits in Dubai, with a dotted line to the Clinical Manager of MEA and APAC.

The Successful Applicant

  • Holds a Nursing or Radiology degree.
  • A passion for the medical devices and health care industry, with outstanding communication skills and the ability to impart technical information.
  • Confident in the ability to work effectively in operating theatres and demonstrating a high level of clinical expertise.
  • Experience in the medical devices / instruments industry.
  • Demonstrates the desire and ability to participate and motivate others in team efforts.
  • Flexibility to travel across the GCC. Eventually they will expand to Africa and Levant.
  • Ideally based in UAE or KSA.
  • Arabic speaker. French is a plus.
