We are seeking dedicated and responsible cleaners to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness in the Masjid premises. The role requires ensuring a neat, peaceful, and welcoming environment for worshippers and visitors while adhering to Islamic etiquette and respect for the sanctity of the Masjid.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily cleaning of prayer halls, ablution areas, restrooms, offices, classrooms, and common areas.
Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize all designated areas.
Wash prayer mats, carpets, and ensure they are kept clean and odor-free.
Regularly clean windows, doors, fans, AC vents, and other fixtures.
Ensure ablution (wudhu) areas and washrooms are kept hygienic, with necessary supplies stocked (soap, tissue, etc.).
Handle waste management and ensure garbage is collected and disposed of properly.
Support in preparing the Masjid for Friday prayers, Eid prayers, and special events.
Respect the sanctity of the Masjid at all times and follow proper etiquette while working.
Report any maintenance issues or damages to management immediately.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a cleaner (experience in mosques/ religious places preferred).
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
Physically fit to handle cleaning duties.
Respectful, disciplined, and mindful of Islamic practices and values.
Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and during special occasions (Ramadan, Eid, etc.).
Preferred:
Candidates with prior experience in religious or community facility cleaning.
Basic knowledge of Arabic or English for communication.
