We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to perform woodworking and construction tasks, including cutting, assembling, and repairing wooden frameworks, furniture, and structures on-site. The ideal candidate should have expertise in using hand tools, power tools, and construction materials to deliver high-quality craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans.
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials.
Construct, install, and repair frameworks, doors, windows, cabinets, staircases, partitions, and flooring.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely.
Select and prepare materials based on project requirements.
Perform finishing tasks such as sanding, polishing, and varnishing.
Inspect and repair damaged wooden structures or furniture.
Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
Collaborate with site engineers, supervisors, and other construction workers to complete projects on time.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry.
Proficiency in woodworking techniques and materials.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and measurements accurately.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
Physical strength, stamina, and manual dexterity.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Certification or vocational training in carpentry is an advantage.
