Job Summary:

Experienced Civil Repair Inspector Engineer with over 10 years of expertise in the inspection, assessment, and supervision of civil and structural repair works across Dubai's infrastructure and building sectors. Ensures all repair and rehabilitation projects meet UAE municipality standards, Dubai Building Code, and international quality and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive inspections of civil and structural elements in buildings, bridges, and infrastructure. Identify defects, cracks, corrosion, and concrete deterioration, and prepare detailed condition assessment reports. Recommend and supervise suitable repair methods and materials in line with ACI, ASTM, and Dubai Municipality standards. Review and approve repair method statements, ITPs, and material submittals. Monitor on-site repair works to ensure compliance with design drawings, specifications, and HSE regulations. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and government authorities for technical approvals and inspections. Perform or oversee non-destructive testing (NDT) and evaluate results for structural integrity. Maintain accurate inspection records, photographic evidence, and progress reports. Support planning and budgeting for civil repair and maintenance projects.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred). 10+ years of experience in civil repair and inspection projects within the UAE (preferably Dubai). Strong knowledge of concrete repair techniques, materials, and structural assessment methods. Familiar with Dubai Municipality, RTA, and DM regulatory requirements. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and report preparation. Excellent communication and leadership skills with a focus on safety and quality assurance. Valid UAE driving license preferred.
