We are seeking a detailed-oriented, thorough, and organized Civil Cost Control Engineer to join our growing team.
Civil Cost Control Engineer is responsible for managing and overseeing the financial aspects of our construction projects, particularly related to material costs and procurement. You will work closely with the purchasing department to ensure that construction materials are accurately estimated, sourced, and purchased at the most competitive prices. Additionally, you will review and approve all cost estimates, ensuring alignment with the project budget and financial objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine the total cost of a project.
Control project-related costs, tracking actual spending and predicting future expenditures.
Coordinate with project managers and other project stakeholders to gather and verify project progress.
Prepare project cost reports and document cost procedures and processes.
Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure all cost-related activities adhere to company policies and financial regulations.
Forecast future project expenses, based on trends and historical data.
Conduct risk assessments to minimize project financial risks.
Qualifications:
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or relevant field.
Minimum of 7 years UAE experience as a Cost Control Engineer or similar role.
Solid knowledge of financial software and MS Office.
Understanding of construction projects and engineering procedures.
Ability to manage and analyze financial data for decision-making.
Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
Good knowledge of project management and accounting principles.
