We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Senior Cost Control Engineer

to join our team and contribute to the successful management of our ongoing and upcoming projects.

As a Senior Cost Control Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the cost control aspects of various civil engineering projects. You will oversee the financial performance of projects, ensuring they stay within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to track costs, forecast expenses, and provide detailed reports to management.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of cost control systems for civil engineering projects. Prepare and maintain project cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts. Track and analyze project costs, identifying potential cost overruns and recommending corrective actions. Perform regular cost reporting and analysis, ensuring that financial data is accurate and timely. Collaborate with project teams to ensure that cost control procedures are followed and implemented effectively. Review and evaluate contractor/subcontractor invoices, ensuring compliance with project specifications and budget. Monitor and evaluate project cash flows and recommend improvements. Work with procurement and project teams to ensure cost-effective procurement and efficient resource allocation. Assist in risk management and provide financial analysis for decision-making. Prepare cost-related reports and presentations for senior management. Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in cost control and project cost management in the civil contracting industry. Strong understanding of construction cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting. Proficiency in cost control software and tools (e.g., SAP, Primavera, MS Excel, etc.). Experience with large-scale construction or infrastructure projects is highly preferred. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of contract management and understanding of construction industry standards and regulations.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
