Civil Chargehand
Job Description
Lead and direct site workers, including masons, carpenters, steel fixers, and laborers.
Allocate tasks and monitor daily work schedules.
Coordinate with site engineers and foremen to understand project requirements and timelines.
Ensure correct interpretation of drawings and plans on-site.
Inspect work progress and quality to meet project standards.
Enforce safety regulations and ensure PPE (personal protective equipment) is used properly.
Request and manage materials and tools required for daily activities.
Monitor use and prevent wastage.
Maintain daily progress records and report site activities to supervisors or engineers.
Inform management of any issues, delays, or potential hazards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,600.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
