Civil Chargehand - High-Rise Buildings

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced

Civil Chargehand

with a strong background in

high-rise building construction

to oversee and manage on-site activities in line with project specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarks. The ideal candidate must have 4

-6 years of hands-on experience

working on high-rise projects in the

UAE

and be familiar with local construction standards, authorities' requirements, and project execution workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate all civil activities on site related to

structural, concrete, blockwork, formwork, and finishing works

. Plan and organize manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently to meet deadlines and milestones. Monitor day-to-day site activities and ensure work is progressing as per the construction schedule. Ensure that work is executed in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Coordinate with project engineers, subcontractors, safety officers, and QA/QC teams. Conduct regular toolbox talks and enforce HSE standards on site. Verify the proper use and handling of materials and ensure minimum wastage. Maintain accurate daily site records, reports, and labor deployment logs. Assist in resolving technical issues or site challenges in collaboration with the project team. Ensure timely communication with site engineers and project managers regarding work progress or delays.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum 4-6 years of experience

as a Civil Foreman in

high-rise building construction

projects within the

UAE

. Proven experience in structural and finishing phases of towers exceeding 10+ floors. Strong knowledge of

UAE construction standards

, safety regulations, and local authority requirements (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, etc.). Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
