The City Manager will be managing the overall logistics of multiple cities across the country, leading on-demand delivery operations and maintaining excellent customer experience 24/7. This role will be taking ownership of staffing, service levels, and communication with stakeholders, as well as monitoring, measuring and improving compliance and performance of riders/partners.
What\'s On Your Plate?
Oversee all daily logistics-related operations
Direct, optimize, and coordinate full order cycle
Lead communication with external suppliers
Supervise and coach multiple rider managers and rider trainers
Oversee and ensure restaurant onboarding and training
Set up SOPs, policies, and tools for safety/compliance of riders and partners
Help with the coordination of marketing campaigns and activities across all brand entities
Coordinate with country logistics head on operational zone setup and special projects
Responsible for the country\'s rider experience and satisfaction score
Provide weekly updates to country management on projects and performance progress
What Did We Order?
Bachelor\'s Degree, MBA is a plus
5-8 years of experience in food/grocery tech industry is highly preferred
Extensive experience in Data Analytics
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - fluency in Arabic and English is required
People management skills: Experience in managing a bigger group of people
Stakeholder management skills: Experience in dealing with cross-cultural team members and cross-functional teams
Ability to analyze data and derive insights from comprehensive data reports
Ability to deal with ambiguity, work under pressure, and handle stress
