What You'll Do

• Define and execute the retail data and AI strategy to support growth, operational efficiency, and innovation
• Identify AI-enabled opportunities that contribute to revenue expansion, cost optimization, and value creation
• Align strategic business goals with data programs and ensure delivery of measurable outcomes
• Guide the deployment of AI-powered services and analytics products across retail functions
• Act as the bridge between data teams and business leaders to drive stakeholder alignment and adoption
• Lead a portfolio of data and AI programs, managing cross-functional dependencies
• Champion data governance, regulatory compliance, and ethical use of AI technologies
• Foster a culture of data literacy and innovation across the organization
• Stay ahead of emerging AI and data technologies and advise on their business application

Ideal Profile

• 12-15 years of experience in data strategy, analytics, or digital transformation roles
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership position within a large-scale enterprise
• Experience in retail or complex, multi-vertical environments is highly preferred
• Master's degree in data science, economics, business administration, or a related field
• Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide AI and data transformation programs
• Deep understanding of value drivers in retail and how data enhances performance
• Familiarity with modern AI technologies including machine learning, generative AI, and LLMs
• Experience building and managing data governance frameworks and ensuring compliance
• Strong stakeholder management, change leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Background in working with marketing, finance, operations, and technology teams
