Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Providing investment advice to help the organization meet its long-term financial objectives
  • Evaluating the performance of the organization’s current assets and identifying areas that could be improved
  • Serve as a key resource in developing house opinions on investment products, investment opportunities, and markets through ongoing qualitative and quantitative research and analysis
  • Utilize common analytical frameworks and develop analyses to assess private equity in terms of organization, investment strategy, performance, terms, current portfolio companies, and other key attributes
  • Lead meetings with general partners, management teams, and other relevant professionals to assess and evaluate investment products and their operations
  • Lead reference calls regarding investment opportunities and market views with industry participants
  • Produce written assessments and recommendations utilized by our clients and colleagues to support investment decisions, this includes detailed diligence reports backed by meetings, factual analyses, and references; and for the market, this entails periodic research reports on current topics of interest
  • Monitor market trends and contribute to thought leadership in investment products
  • Serve as a resource to colleagues and clients seeking current information on investment opportunities and markets, including data and analysis, and the opinion of the Investment products
  • Conduct market studies, proactive sourcing, and deal origination
  • Business development with the objective to build strong relationships with investors and industry experts
Other Requirements:
  • 10+ years of relevant investment experience with a proven track record
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in arrangement, and investment banking
  • Previous experience of working with venture-back start-ups is a plus
  • Financial acumen - the capacity to demonstrate knowledge of and insight into financial principles and processes and identify inconsistencies in data
  • Understanding of investment principles, regulations, and policies in Saudi Arabia
  • Ability to plan and prioritize effectively: outstanding analysis skills, strong project/process management skills
  • Significant experience performing complex financial analysis and modeling and ideally some experience with partnership agreements
  • Ability to assign priorities to multiple requests for information, while ensuring integrity, accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic
  • MBA or other advanced degrees; CFA certification is an advantage
