Job Description
(BLME105) We have another exciting opportunity with a longtime client in Abu Dhabi as we are currently seeking a new Chief Curator for their museum, the position will focus on Contemporary Art for the 19th-20th Centuries. The role holder will be responsible for the narrative and collections proposals and implementation for the wing in line with scientific and cultural objectives. In addition, they will manage strategic goals, develop research activities and content that enhances the museum's reputation, and develop collaborative partnerships with national and international museum committees. Do you have technical skills in research, academic writing, data and management documentation, conservation techniques, curatorial practice and team management? Candidates must possess a PhD degree in History of Art, Archaeology, Museology or Museum studies along with solid experience as Curator and/ or Head of section of a museum or related institution. Please note that professional English language skills are essential.
