. This role requires an in-depth knowledge about cost-benefit analysis, Value Methodology and workshop facilitation. The ideal candidate is expected to:
Conduct cost analysis and risk assessments.
Facilitate Value Engineering workshops that are in compliance with local authority requirements.
Ensure functional optimization by collaborating with the project managers, engineers and stakeholders, while maintaining client and performance requirements.
Lead team members across different fields through different phases of the VE process such as collection of information, function analysis (FAST diagrams), creative ideas, evaluation, development, and presentation.
Provide mentorship to junior team members.
Stay updated with trends and tools in the Value Engineering field.
Qualifications
Specialty in Architectural & MEP Value Engineering is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
5-10 years of professional experience in a similar role.
Experience with infrastructure or high-rise projects
(preferred).
Strong knowledge of FAST Diagramming, cost modeling, performance metrics and LCC.
Exceptional analytical and communication skills, with a knack for presentation.
Familiar with BIM, cost estimation software (e.g., CostX) and local UAE/GCC codes and regulations.
Proven experience in facilitating workshops with various stakeholders.
Proficient in MS Office and relevant project management or engineering tools.
