Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CCTV Support Engineer to manage Video Management Systems (VMS), Video Analytics (VA), and act as a System Administrator for surveillance networks. The role involves ensuring seamless operation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV systems, supporting users, and maintaining system security and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, VMS platforms, and VA applications. Monitor CCTV and VMS performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and resolve system errors promptly. Configure and optimize video analytics (motion detection, facial recognition, license plate recognition, etc.) for operational efficiency. Ensure integration of CCTV systems with network infrastructure and IT security standards. Perform regular system updates, backups, and preventive maintenance. Prepare technical documentation, system diagrams, and operational manuals. Provide end-user support, training, and guidance for VMS and CCTV operations. Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal IT/security teams for system upgrades or issues. Stay updated on the latest CCTV technologies, video analytics, and security protocols.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electronics, IT, Computer Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in CCTV system support, VMS management, and system administration. Experience with user management, access control, and IT network security. Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues related to CCTV systems. Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
