We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter specializing in furniture to join our dynamic team. As a Furniture Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and finishing bespoke furniture pieces according to client specifications and company standards.
Minimum requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the related field.
Proven experience as a Carpenter with a focus on furniture design and construction.
Proficiency in using carpentry tools and machines.
Strong understanding of wood properties and other carpentry materials.
Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to new design challenges.
Key responsibilities, but not limited to:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand the requirements of each project.
Select and source appropriate materials, ensuring the highest quality and sustainability.
Utilize a variety of carpentry tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble furniture components.
Apply finishes such as stains, varnishes, and paints to enhance the appearance and durability of the furniture.
Collaborate with designers and other team members to ensure each piece meets aesthetic and functional requirements.
Conduct quality checks and perform necessary adjustments or repairs.
