Job Summary

:
Execute the fabrication, assembly, and installation of custom-made furniture and joinery items, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, precision, and timely completion as per project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

:

Read and understand shop drawings, cutting lists, and design specifications. Cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, MDF, veneer, and laminate materials for furniture production. Perform tasks like fitting, edging, trimming, sanding, and finishing work. Assemble various types of furniture including wardrobes, cabinets, vanities, tables, and doors. Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines efficiently and safely. Ensure accurate dimensions and high-quality finishing on all furniture pieces. Assist in site installations when required, ensuring proper fixing and alignment. Inspect products during and after fabrication for defects or finishing issues. Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety within the carpentry workshop. Communicate material requirements or technical issues to the supervisor promptly. Follow company quality standards, procedures, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Furniture Carpenter in the joinery or fit-out industry. Ability to read and interpret technical and production drawings. Skilled in woodworking tools, machines, and various joinery techniques. Good understanding of materials, adhesives, hardware, and finishing methods. Strong eye for detail and craftsmanship.
