The job revolves around strategizing, analyzing, implementing changes, and driving continuous improvements within the cargo operations to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance while aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
Deliver cargo initiatives from conceptual planning to execution in conjunction with relevant operational SME\'s and ensuring that support functions are compliant to customer & regulatory requirements
Accountabilities
Develop Concept of Operations (CONOPS) for new facilities or re-engineered processes and ensure its delivery to BAU operations within committed timelines
Develop demand models based on forecasted cargo volumes, align to multiple business variables and capacity constraints to deliver a cost efficient operating model.
Develop financial & operational Business Cases to justify investment in new technology, facilities, equipment, and processes.
Lead change management programs to support the smooth introduction of new processes and procedures.
Deliver improvements in operations processes which will result in reduction of costs, improvement in revenue, Net Profit, EBITDA and/or customer satisfaction metrics.
Design & implement Continuous Improvement Programs in cargo to enhance productivity and improve quality of delivery
Education & Experience
Degree Equivalent or Diploma in appropriate business qualification
Minimum of 8 years aviation/logistics industry experience is required including at least 5 years in a managerial role
Intermediate / Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills
