Planning and Performance Manager | Al Futtaim Automotive | BYD

Overview of the role:
  • The primary focus of the role will be to streamline processes, driving efficiency, improving cost control, reducing lead times, and improving customer satisfaction and building a strong EV portfolio, sales network, aftersales capability, and customer centric operations.
What you will do:
  • Lead and manage the ongoing performance improvement for AFEMC including the brand performance measurement, site performance measurement and to maintain the backlog of initiatives to drive market.
  • Responsible for the overall strategy development for AFEMC and will be the core driver of transformational programs through efficient project management and process mapping. In addition to that, developing standards and operating procedures for the EV businesses in conjunction with dealer and central teams, effectively managing stakeholder buy-in, data backed decision making and consistency of standards in conjunction with wider AFA Operations teams are the core part of the role.
  • Business Planning to support the Managing Director in preparing, agreeing, and achieving sales business plans with actions and strategic goals that are aligned with the brand and company strategy.
  • Budget Planning that supports the sales forecasting, planning, budgeting process and target setting for new car sales by analyzing historical data, monitoring current performance and market conditions while coordinating with the Finance department to ensure targets are in line with the set budgets.
  • Campaign planning to propose tactical campaign initiatives at a national / regional level by understanding UAE market situation and competitor analysis, to maximize sales revenue equation and setting up KPIs to evaluate success of the campaign.
  • Sales Planning using best available data to forecast market and segment and using the information to establish appropriate Budget/Forecast assumptions for Sales.
  • Develop a sales planning strategy (in conjunction with the pricing department) that supports delivery of EV market shares and profitability targets.
  • Overseeing Supply Chain to ensure healthy balance sheet position with efficient stock, from Factory order to final Customer Delivery, by influencing OEM, Suppliers, Group Value Chain teams.
  • Develop and execute strategic planning performance in alignment with Al Futtaim overall business objectives.
  • Analyze across every location the productivity and capacity and devising actions to improve performance. In addition - to support with sales force rotations and create plans for coverage according to the volume surge work closely with Central Operations and Demand / Supply department to ensure seamless planning and forecasting of the right model mix on a monthly basis without affecting availability and maximizing sales volumes while customer satisfaction levels are achieved.
  • Analyze data related to planning activities, demand forecasts, resources allocation to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement.
  • Generate actionable insights from data analysis to inform decision making and drive performance improvement.
  • Regularly monitor and report on performance metrics, providing recommendations for corrective actions as needed.
