Job Description

Job Summary/Purpose:

Monitor, maintain and upgrade the security measures for the protection of the organization's data, systems, and networks in order to provide effective customer service and compliance to ASG IT Group policies.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement the security measures based on business needs and industry best practices.

2. Monitor the networks for potential threats using security tools such as firewalls and antivirus software.

3. Install and troubleshoot the new security systems such as firewalls or anti-virus software.

4. Create the firewall security policies, procedures and plan to safeguard data and systems from cyber-attacks.

5. Perform risk assessments to identify potential security threats in ASG computing environment.

6. Provide recommendations on new security measures to strengthen existing security systems.

7. Analyze the impact of emerging technologies on existing security systems and identifying the potential risks.

8. Conduct the security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities in computer networks and applications.

9. Conduct a comprehensive analysis of cyber-attacks to determine the source of the attack and how to prevent similar attacks in the future.

10. Ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values.

11. Install all network hardware and software and make the necessary upgrade and repairs.

12. Maintain network and computer system security and ensure all systems are operating correctly.

13. Regular confers with database programmers, analysts, other systems administrators, and users regarding current and prospective system changes and future needs.

14. Provide support to site-managed technical staff regarding system administration and usage.

15. Direct efforts of technicians who are involved in diagnosing and correcting system related failures and performing system management activities; determines logical solutions to complex system administration and application problems.

16. Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.

17. Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media.



? Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports and presentations.

? Document and maintain records of activities and process workflows on internal communication portals.

? Adhere to Al-Sayer Group policies and health and safety regulations.

? Perform other duties as requested by management.

Educational Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor Degree with 6 years of experience.
