JOB TITLE: CAMO Compliance Manager BASE: Abu Dhabi
POSITION IN THE ORGANIZATION To work in partnership with the CAMO and Compliance Departments as well as internal and external stakeholders to ensure all works and activities are in line with the needs and priorities of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi Limited and carried out in accordance with applicable regulations. CAMO Compliance Manager is reporting to the Compliance Postholder and being responsible for the monitoring of all CAMO related activities and for the issuance of Airworthiness Review Certificates.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FUNCTION
  • Contribute to the development of the CAMO compliance monitoring audit and inspection plans.
  • Organizes and performs internal and external CAMO compliance audits and inspections including AMO.
  • Monitors CAMO subcontracted activities
  • Identify, record and report any non-compliances
  • Monitors timely closure of any non-compliances generated by audits and inspections
  • Remain independent in all circumstances
  • Ensures that the CAMO compliance monitoring programme is properly implemented, maintained and continuously reviewed and improved
  • Verification that corrective and preventive actions are taken by the manager responsible in response to any finding of non-compliance in accordance with established procedures.
  • Provides management with an independent assessment of corrective action, implementation and completion
  • Responsible for the issuance of Airworthiness Review certificates
  • Reports directly to the Postholder Compliance Monitoring

  • Analytical thinker and observer with ability to critically assess requirements and identify possible non-compliances.
  • Strong ability to work flexibly - managing changing and competing priorities and absorbing new information rapidly to address complex issues.
  • Able to challenge and influence others, including more senior colleagues and stakeholders, to ensure that the right outcomes are achieved.
  • Strong ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, to work collaboratively to improve the safety and compliance management system.
  • Proven ability to systematically analyze information and to objectively present non-compliances with regulation and requirements.
  • Ability to build process and procedures
  • Ability to travel

REQUIREMENTS
  • Higher education (Bachelor's/Master's degree)
  • Aviation regulation knowledge (CAR M & CAR 145regulations)
  • General understanding of aviation safety and compliance management systems
  • Fluent English / advanced computer user skills
  • A320 Level 3 or Level 1 Type Course will be considered as advantage
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in continuing airworthiness
  • Minimum 1 year of auditing
