Job Description



Purchasing Coordinators are primarily responsible for arranging for the purchase of of raw materials, supplies and services on behalf of their employers. Purchasing Coordinators are an integral part of any business that revolves around selling physical products. Purchasing Coordinators are in demand across many sectors, including manufacturing, textiles and food production.

Key Accountabilities and Process:

\xc2\xb7 Manage samples requested for approval are received in time, to ensure the critical path is kept into a timely manner and no delays occur to order production.

\xc2\xb7 Manage process such as courier receipt, signing and opening all samples, tidying away of all samples, removal of boxes to storage at end of season.

\xc2\xb7 Liaise with brands and licensees on product approvals

\xc2\xb7 Confirm & verify timely receipt of all proforma invoices from suppliers against the buy plan.

\xc2\xb7 Follow up on agreed shipment dates, making sure of timely dispatch of goods from supplier and to track receipts internally, to ensure all stock arrives on time to deliver the stock and sales plan

\xc2\xb7 Create new suppliers in system on head of buying\xe2\x80\x99s instruction and process through to completion additionally assist new suppliers with onboarding of Shoemart requirements

\xc2\xb7 Update and maintain shipment tracker to provide visibility of goods and highlight any issues or delays to the buyer which could affect sales.

\xc2\xb7 Prioritize the handover of orders to the respective department and monitor status of order production and assist in identifying priorities

\xc2\xb7 Compile orders received from respective department to ensure sign off from buying and finance is obtained.

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for the end to end management of PLM (product lifestyle management)

\xc2\xb7 Prepare sell off reports with pictures as requested by season

\xc2\xb7 Assist the buying team in analyzing basic sales data for future range learnings, prepare data in excel spreadsheets and maintain shared files.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Education

Graduate/ Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree.

Language

English \xe2\x80\x93 Mandatory

Arabic \xe2\x80\x93 Beginner / intermediate

Job Experience

Minimum 03 years of experience

Technology

Basic MS office, Excel skills/ MIS and PPT

Others

\xc2\xb7 Ability to adapt and change with a dynamic business environment.

\xc2\xb7 Being able to establish successful relationships based on trust and mutual respect
