Job Description

Synopsis
Supervise load control system solutions for Etihad operations. Action all system setting, parameters and outputs for accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance, ensuring all operating limitations are complied with and meet the needs of the business.
Accountabilities

  • Perform specialized solution support and administrative activities requiring knowledge of specific processes and procedures to ensure high quality back-office support to operational activities.
  • Perform and overview daily administrative activities and communications to ensure the smooth execution of department operations.
  • Action load control solution database updates, profiles, testing, validation of safety limitations, performance, changes, and delivery into the production environment for efficient and safe operations
  • Ensure applicable solutions are compliant with local and international regulatory requirements including multiple advanced passenger processing channels.
  • Action seat map changes including setup, testing and delivery into production benefitting inventory, codeshare, reservations, and check-in operations.
  • Action load control system deployment ensuring all enhancements and changes are fully tested and meet business requirements.
  • Implement changes to teletype messaging and e-mail for efficient and robust communication for company operations.
  • Identify and action all solutions testing for all defects and escalate as appropriate for resolution.
  • Action new airport start-up and GHA change requirements for load control.
Education & Experience
  • Minimum Diploma or relevant license/certification.
  • Subject matter expert (SME) with proven demonstrable sound knowledge of load control and relevant industry experience, departure control and/or reservations system experience preferably gained in 5 years working experience in an airline operation.
  • Identify and action improvements to processes, procedures, and solution user guides to ensure continuous alignment to best practices.
  • Receive, analyze, and address functional inquiries and eventual issues coming from internal and external parties to ensure timely and accurate management/resolution.
  • Drive improvements in processes and services to improve metrics, SLAs and customer satisfaction while driving modernization
