Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the logistics industry.
Develop and implement strategic sales and business growth plans.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for expansion.
Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations.
Collaborate with operations, customer service, and finance teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery for clients.
Meet sales targets, monitor performance, and provide regular reports to management.
Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking activities to promote the company's services.
Maintain a strong understanding of logistics solutions including freight forwarding, warehousing, transportation, and supply chain services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in business development, preferably in the logistics or supply chain industry.
Strong knowledge of logistics operations including freight, warehousing, customs, and distribution.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build relationships, identify client needs, and offer tailored solutions.
Results-driven with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
