We are seeking a
Business Development Manager
to lead sales and client acquisition efforts in the marine sector. You will be responsible for driving
monthly revenue starting at AED 1 million
, with a long-term target of
AED 30 million annually
. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands the maritime market, and brings strong commercial instincts combined with regional fluency and cultural alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition
: Identify, approach, and onboard new clients, particularly
ship owners
,
technical managers
, and
marine procurement decision-makers
.
Sales & Revenue Growth
: Achieve and exceed
monthly sales targets starting at AED 1 million
, progressing toward
annual AED 30 million goals
.
Industry Networking
: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the
marine, shipping, offshore, and logistics sectors
.
Lead Management
: Generate leads through referrals, cold outreach, events, LinkedIn, and shipping databases.
Proposal & Negotiation
: Prepare and deliver tailored commercial offers; lead contract negotiations and close deals.
Market Intelligence
: Monitor competition, gather customer feedback, and adjust sales strategies based on market demand and marine industry trends.
Collaboration
: Work closely with internal technical and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction.
Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:
Minimum
5 years
of experience in business development or sales in the
marine/shipping industry in UAE
Strong
network with ship owners and ship management companies
is
mandatory
.
Not necessarily an engineer, but must understand maritime products/services and procurement cycles.
Must be fluent in Arabic and English
Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.
Self-motivated, goal-driven, and capable of working independently.
Immediate joiners preferred.
