Business Development Manager – Joinery, Fit Out & Interior Design

Job Description

The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding the company's presence in the joinery, fit-out, and interior design sectors. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is responsible for driving business growth, building a strong client base, developing new market opportunities, and ensuring the company achieves its sales and profitability objectives.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Market Growth & Expansion



Identify and pursue new business opportunities in joinery, fit-out, and interior design. Develop and execute strategies to increase the company's market share and client portfolio. Conduct comprehensive market research to track industry trends, monitor competitors, and spot emerging opportunities.

2.Client Relationship Management



Build and sustain strong, long-term relationships with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders. Act as the key point of contact for high-value clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and repeat business.

3.Business Development & Sales



Partner with the sales and technical teams to design tailored solutions and proposals that align with client requirements and project specifications. Prepare and deliver impactful business presentations to potential clients, showcasing the company's expertise and capabilities. Lead and close negotiations, ensuring contracts are commercially viable and beneficial to both parties. Achieve and exceed defined sales and revenue targets in line with the company's strategic objectives.

4.Leadership & Strategic Contribution



Collaborate closely with the CEO to set business development goals and growth strategies. Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement of business processes and client acquisition approaches. Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to strengthen brand presence.

Qualifications & Skills:



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field (Master's degree preferred). Minimum of 7-10 years' proven experience in business development within joinery, fit out, or interior design sectors in the UAE/GCC. Strong network of industry contacts (architects, consultants, contractors, and developers). Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market trends into business opportunities. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales and revenue targets.
