Our client, an event management organization, is currently looking for a Business Development & Cultural Affairs Executive to join their team in Abu Dhabi. The selected candidate will play a key role in strengthening the organization's partnerships within the arts, culture, and creative sectors. This position combines business development, partnership management, and cultural diplomacy -- supporting the planning and delivery of high-profile events, international collaborations, and strategic cultural initiatives that enhance the organization's presence both locally and globally.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Partnerships
Identify, initiate, and manage partnerships with embassies, cultural institutions, and international organizations.
Support the preparation of business proposals, partnership decks, and memorandums of understanding (MoUs).
Research and recommend sponsorship opportunities and strategic collaborations aligned with the organization's cultural objectives.
Maintain and nurture existing partner relationships to ensure engagement and satisfaction.
Work closely with internal teams to align partnership goals with organizational priorities.
Cultural Affairs & Engagement
Support the planning, coordination, and execution of local and international cultural programs, events, and initiatives.
Conduct research to identify opportunities for cultural collaborations and exchanges.
Liaise with embassies, VIPs, and diplomatic entities to facilitate cultural engagement and representation.
Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team to ensure cohesive messaging for all cultural partnerships.
Coordinate the organization's participation in international festivals, conferences, and cultural platforms.
Strategic & Administrative Support
Prepare reports, correspondence, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain an updated database of all cultural and partnership activities.
Support the management of memberships with international cultural associations and networks.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Arts & Culture, International Relations, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or cultural affairs within the arts, events, or public/private sector.
Strong understanding of cultural diplomacy, stakeholder engagement, and event coordination.
Excellent communication, research, and report-writing skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
High proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong presentation skills..
