The Business Development Account Manager (BDAM) plays an important role at Euromonitor. The Business Development Account Manager (BDAM) is responsible for maintaining, developing and transforming our relationship with our local and global FMCG corporate clients.

Working from a named list of existing clients, the Business Development Account Manager (BDAM) is expected to expand the value of our current partnerships. By understanding why clients use and need our information, the Business Development Account Manager (BDAM) will be able to recommend the services best fit for their needs which may include expanding client's current subscription to our online database, Passport or engaging with our consulting team to develop bespoke market studies.

The Business Development Account Manager (BDAM) is a partnership builder, a business developer; a Euromonitor expert, a tough but fair negotiator and a team player.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build relationships, create a deeper network inside client organizations with consistent and proactive dialogue with multiple decision makers.
  • Understand and deliver clear benefit statements for all Euromonitor's databases as well as Euromonitor's consulting capabilities.
  • Secure subscription renewals and achieve an annual upsell target by:
  • Expanding our contacts beyond existing sources & developing a tailored value proposition for various areas within an organization.
  • Using polite persistence to engage with senior executives
  • Following through on long term projects as well as identifying multiple ways to assist/address obstacles in the process along the way.
  • Negotiating & closing proposals
Requirements:
  • 2yrs+ of sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree or formal training and education in consultative sales/marketing are an advantage
  • Comfort interacting with C-level executives within various levels and functions
  • Goal-oriented, creative and self-motivated
  • Strong communication, negotiation, time management and diplomacy skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with internal colleagues
  • Willingness to travel (
