Business Analyst - SWIFT Payments Transformation - Dubai, UAE
Position Overview
We are hiring an experienced Business Analyst to support a SWIFT-related transformation program, working closely with product, operations, IT, compliance, and external vendors to gather requirements, coordinate testing, and ensure successful project rollout. This role requires deep knowledge of payments, SWIFT, ISO20022, and the banking domain, along with strong project coordination skills in both Agile and Waterfall environments.

What You'll Do

• Gather and analyze business and functional requirements for SWIFT and payment systems.
• Translate product strategies into clear use cases, BRDs, FSDs, and process maps.
• Ensure requirements align with compliance, audit, and finance standards.
• Serve as the single point of contact for BA activities in the transformation program.
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to ensure accurate solution implementation.
• Coordinate across multiple stakeholders to achieve project milestones.
• Lead UAT planning, execution, defect tracking, and regression testing.
• Support system readiness and post-deployment validation.
• Create SOPs, user manuals, and training materials for end users.
• Deliver training sessions to business and operations teams.
• Assist in pilot rollouts, go-live support, and post-implementation issue resolution.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in transaction banking or cash management.
• Strong understanding of payments, SWIFT, and ISO20022 standards.
• Familiarity with core banking systems, payment hubs, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience in both Agile and Waterfall project lifecycles.
• Excellent documentation, analysis, and communication skills.
• Preferred: UAE banking sector experience, prior involvement in SWIFT/payment rails projects, and proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and Excel.
