Position Overview
The Business Analyst - Finance and VAT - Dubai, UAE will bridge business requirements and technical solutions in core banking environments. The role focuses on finance operations, VAT processes, and e-invoicing, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and seamless system integration.

What You'll Do

• Gather and document requirements for finance operations, VAT, and integrations
• Collaborate with finance, IT, and compliance teams to define business rules and workflows
• Support integration between core banking systems (Finacle, Flexcube) and sub-systems such as GL, CRM, and payments
• Conduct gap analysis and propose reconciliation improvements for general ledger entries
• Assist in VAT automation and e-invoicing solutions in line with UAE regulations
• Develop functional specifications, use cases, and process flows
• Participate in UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution
• Track KPIs related to reconciliation accuracy and VAT compliance
• Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement recommendations

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
• 8+ years of business analysis experience in banking or financial services
• Hands-on experience with core banking platforms such as Finacle and Flexcube
• Strong understanding of system integration and financial reporting
• Experience with VAT calculation and e-invoicing in UAE
• Strong reconciliation and compliance knowledge
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
