BRAND MANAGER: AUTOMOTIVE: MIDDLE EAST

Position Overview

As a Car Brand Manager specialising in the Middle East region, your pivotal role entails orchestrating and implementing targeted marketing strategies to amplify brand presence and fortify sales performance for a designated car brand within the corporate portfolio. You will play a vital role in shaping and executing brand strategies, overseeing diverse teams, scrutinising market dynamics, and ensuring a unified brand message and positioning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand Strategy
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define the brand\'s vision, mission, and strategic goals, particularly tailored to the Middle East market
  • Formulate comprehensive brand strategies aligned with corporate objectives
  • Discern precise target audience segments and fine-tune brand strategies to optimally engage the Middle Eastern market.
Marketing Campaign
  • Formulate and execute marketing campaigns that magnify brand visibility, drive sales, and meet performance benchmarks
  • Engage with creative teams to devise dynamic marketing materials encompassing advertisements, videos, and digital content
  • Oversee digital and conventional advertising to ensure a consistent brand message
Product Launches and Positioning
  • Collaborate with product development units to outline product positioning, attributes, and advantages that align with the Middle East
  • Manage product launches from concept to execution
  • Liaise with all relevant departments - sales, marketing, and public relations
Market Scrutiny and Competitor Intelligence
  • Monitor regional industry trends, competitor activity, and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities and challenges specific to the Middle East
  • Conduct market research to use insights in strategic decision-making and marketing activities. Analyse market data to identify gaps and opportunities to advance brand positioning and product offerings for the Middle East
Interdisciplinary Cooperation
  • Develop close collaboration with sales, marketing, public relations, and product development teams, ensuring alignment and effective engagement of brand strategies
  • Offer guidance and direction to all teams to uphold a solid and consistent brand identity across all touchpoints
Financial Allocation
  • Develop and oversee the marketing budget
  • Monitor expenditures and campaign efficacy,
  • Maximise return on investment and cost efficiency
Brand Performance Assessment
  • Define Key Performance Indicators to gauge marketing efficacy and overall brand performance
  • Regular evaluation of KPIs and reporting to senior leadership with data-driven recommendations for refinements and enhancements
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, dealers, suppliers, and partners
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or associated field (Master\'s degree preferred)
  • Strong fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • 8 - 10 years in brand management, marketing, or related roles within the automotive industry, specifically within the Middle East
  • Thorough comprehension of market trends, consumer behaviour, and the competitive landscape specific to the Middle East
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Innovative thinker with the ability to create leading marketing strategies
  • Competency in data analysis
  • Confidently lead cross-functional teams
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Knowledge and experience of marketing software and tools
