The Role

Our Tier 1 Main Contracting client has a new requirement for a number of well experienced Architectural BIM Modelers to join their team in Dubai to work on prestigious new projects in the Emirates. Successful candidates will have a proven background as an Architectural BIM Modeler on major residential, commercial, hospitality and mixed use projects in the UAE and have worked for a recognised main contracting company This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 6 month fixed term contract position as outsourced staff employed by J10 Consulting. Key Responsibilities: o The role of Architectural BIM Modeler requires the successful applicant to run a portfolio of projects independently, adhere, enforce and maintain agreed standards within the project teams, and provide assistance to the Associates to improve the overall performance of the practice. o Provide full and detailed appraisal of project requirements as issued by client o Take sole ownership of draft design brief and present for comment and approval prior to beginning next stage. o Set up full project programme with Senior Architect o Work with concept department to realise deliverables on time and within budget o Work with Associate to develop cost/time chart based on project deliverables, required resources and agreed programme o Client liaison alongside Associate o Sub-consultant liaison, agreeing deliverables, scope and timescales o Ensure project tracking schedule is current, monitored and submitted on a weekly basis o Manage any value engineering and make client aware of potential variations to consultancy agreement o Orchestrate detailed design package, review progress daily with Senior Architect, and resolve all outstanding issues where client input is required o Oversee submissions for building permit and Civil Defence o Adopt clients leadership style - based on teamwork, helpfulness and hard work o Ensure that all staff are aware of Company's Quality Policy and Quality Objectives o Ensure that the Company Quality Management System is effectively implemented o Ensure that corrective/preventive actions are implemented effectively as required



Requirements

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architecture or equivalent o Minimum 5 years overall experience with at least 2 in a recognised main contractor company o Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other relevant tools. o Strong understanding of architectural and construction principles, materials, and techniques. o Excellent technical skills in 3D modeling, drawing production, and model coordination. o Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, accurate BIM models and documentation. o Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment. o Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
